FROM THE DESK OF B.L. KHATRI
(FOUNDER OF THE SITE)
While welcoming you to
this site, I humbly tell you that since my childhood I had been looking for new
horizons in social and other matters, even when there were little avenues as my
family is settled at Abohar, the remotest town of Punjab state. However the
town, located on inter state border with Rajasthan and Haryana besides the
international border, had gained significance in many fields.
I felt that our
Brahmkshatriya community should also excel in the field of information and
technology. Although our country was placed at second position in it. Yet the
topper USA was having maximum number of Indians in this field and we should be
proud of it.
My idea: Our community had
been divided in categories like Marwari, Gujrati, Sourathia, Kuchhi, Halai,
etc. Coming up above this partisan, my idea was aimed at uplift of the
community as a whole. The idea will help us to think globally when the world
was going to emerge as one village.
My personal interest: To
be more fair and honest, I must reveal that year 2001 has significance for my
family also. The 51st marriage anniversary of my parents (Smt. Meera and Sh.
Gauri Shankar Khatri) falls in this year. It is the golden jubilee birth year
for me. Coincidentally the silver jubilee of my marriage with Leela also falls
in the same year. This also inspired me to present this web site in the service
of global Brahmkshatriya community on the eve of entering 21st century. The
site will work on no profit no loss basis.
Gratitudes: I am grateful
to my associates Sh. Laxmi Chandra Khatri (ex-editor, Hinglajjyoti) and Sh.
Chander Kant Khatri (editor, Brahmkshatriya Hitechhu) who extended all
cooperation and guidance as co-founders of this web site. They are having great
ideas for upgrading this web site in Hindi and Gujrati language also. I am
thankful to my friend Sh. Raj Sadosh, a senior journalist and feature writer,
who was helpful in many ways.
My expectations: Your
comments and suggestions are welcomed. You can give details about your family
for global directory, join matrimonial service and help others to do so for
benefit of the community. Information regarding Shri Hinglaj Temples and other
holy places is also welcomed.
Limitations: Suggestions
will have to be processed. Any entry in matrimonial directory and other services
can be deleted if found controversial or un-aesthetic. Web site will not be
responsible for any wrong information fed by the beneficiaries. Let's hope the
best.
With all good wishes,
B. L. Khatri
